THANKSGIVING!
This week we learned about the letter T, the kids learned what it meant to be thankful and to help others. We had a lot of fun making handprint turkeys, learning about pilgrims. and learning about their families which was the biggest thing that they were thankful for!

The kids wrote on leaves what they were thankful for and stuck the leaves onto a tree
After the tree was full, they used the leaves as feathers for the turkeys they made.
They were very thankful to have such an awesome, caring teacher.
WE WILL MISS YOU RACHAEL!!!

The children learned about pilgrims and made hats!

The children drew what they were thankful for.

Halloween!

We loved Halloween in our classroom! The week was full of creepy crawlies and skeleton bones. On Halloween day the kids had a blast dressing up in their costumes and showing off for the teachers! They all looked so great!!
This was our Halloween flubber. We dyed it orange and added googley eyes to it. The kids had a blast picking out the eyes.

Dressing up was so much fun! :)

We made so many fun crafts. The picture in the upper left hand side is a "skeleton" made out of Q-tips, the middle pictures are all things Halloween (Pumpkin seeds, googley eyes, orange, stickers), and on bottom are handprint spiders.

The children made their own party hats! They loved the feathers, but by the end of the day, I don't think many made it home. haha

The Tadpole class went for a walk and found a bunch of leaves to play in. The kids just LOVED playing in the leaves and hearing them crunch as they walked through them.

Halloween week was a blast! The kids couldn't wait until Halloween day to bring their costumes!!!
Next week is Community Helpers week, can't wait to post all the fun things we learn and do! :)
