This week the children got to learn different songs and dances for a special program that their families got to watch, also throughout the week they made fun Christmas crafts!!!

WINTER

Dec 9-13th.

This week the children learned about winter and weather, they learned what time of the year it snows (even though Idaho is unpredictable) also that they should dress warm when its cold.

 

 

Our tadpoles made Christmas ornaments to hang on their trees.

The leapfrogs made snowmen and put cotton balls on to represent snow!

Miss Whitney taught the kids about weather and they had

to keep track of the weather for the week!!!



SPORTS!!!

Dec 2-6 This week we learned about the different varieties of sports and how to play them,

the kids enjoyed all the crafts and activities Miss Whitney prepared for them.

The kids had a chart made and had to tell us which balls bounced and which ones did not.

They also learned about the letter K and how to write it!!!

The children got to stitch yarn in the middle of the footballs.

The children put stickers on top of dot on the letter K.

The kids learned how to pass a basketball and would take turns telling their favorite sport!

 

They got to make their own baseball cookie and eat it after they were done!
